Hot Spring Update
Hello everyone!
This weekend I got to go check out the Jerry Johnson hot springs about an hour away from Missoula. I joined the Outdoor Recreation Club to go on the trip and the club is going to Olympic National Park over spring break. I will be going on that trip too!
It has not snowed very much recently, it looks a lot more like spring up here. Classes are difficult but lots of fun

Good and Bad Weather
Hey everyone!
This past week has been a blast, and unusually warm. The snow has all but melted and days are filled with bright sunshine or with heavy fog in the mornings and cloudy skies in the afternoon. It has generally been between 30 and 50 degrees, with this past Saturday getting up to 55 degrees. I have been taking advantage of all of this with plenty of hiking.

I got to have lunch with my cousin Jeffery while he was in town visiting his girlfriend who is going to introduce me to the outdoor recreation club the school has!
School has been getting tough for sure but now that I am settled in I am getting around do doing much more around town!

Week 1
Hello everyone!
This week was my first in Missoula Montana. For the first couple days I explored the city and the surrounding mountains.
After a little exploring, I started classes at University of Montana! A beautiful campus(shown above) but a cold walk to classes! This semester I an taking General Chemistry, Basic Nutrition, The Greening of Religion, Environmental Justice and Solutions, as we as Environmental Negotiation Mediation. Three of those are graduate level, in fact, a peer in my Mediation class is a TA in my Basic Nutrition class. It is going to be a tough and fulfilling semester!

This is the river between the downtown and the university area.
This shows a bit of the elevation change in my backyard. You can bet I climbed the full 1722 ft to the top!
The hike was spectacular!
Another day I saw some "interesting birds"
